Pepper first formed after a gathering a local following on the Big Island and soon after they started playing they gained the interest of Volcom Entertainment who produced and distributed the band’s first release called “Give’n It” which combined the sounds of dancehall, reggae, hip-hop and pop. With their success of this first record the band landed a spot on the 2001 Warped Tour.
Pepper loves to tour and they have been to many different cities around the world with many popular bands of today including 311, Snoop Dogg and Slightly Stupid. In 2004 Pepper released the album, “In With the Old” which showcased a variety of different sounds ranging from heavy metal, 80’s pop and more dub. This unique blend of music was heralded by many fans and critics as the new sounds of the century and Pepper continues to amaze fans with their continuing talents in making music.
Since their debut into the music world, Pepper has recorded and released several different albums, most of them to high critical acclaim.
